Ingredients:

  • Tinday 1/2 kg
  • Finely chopped onion 2
  • Lemons 2
  • Finely chopped mint leaves 1/2 bunch
  • Fennel 1 tsp
  • Crushed red chili 1 tsp
  • Whole coriander 1 tbsp
  • Oil as required
  • Salt to taste

For Gravy:

  • Finely chopped coriander leaves 1 bunch
  • Onion 2
  • Lemons 2
  • Finely chopped green chilies 2
  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • Turmeric 1 tsp
  • Red chili powder 1 tbsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Peel tinday, cut upper part, take out pulp and keep whole.
  2. Now cut onion like omelette onion.
  3. Then grind fennel and whole coriander.
  4. Heat oil, fry onion slightly and mix fennel and whole coriander.
  5. Now remove it and add lemon juice, crushed red chili, salt and mint leaves.
  6. Then fill this masala in tinday, keep upper part and close with thread or toothpick.
  7. Heat oil in frying pan and shallow fry tinday.
  8. Now heat oil in big pot, fry onion until golden brown and take it out.
  9. Then mix red chili powder, turmeric, salt, red chili powder and ginger garlic paste, roast it slightly, put fried tinday and simmer it for 5 minutes.
  10. Then add coriander leaves, green chilies and lemon juice and serve.

Masalay Bharay Tinday is tasty dish. Then filled with masala and fried. Then cooked with gravy and served.
