Afghani Rice Soup Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Rice 1 cup
  • Green peas 1/2 cup
  • Chickpeas 1/2 cup
  • Red beans 1/2 cup
  • Garlic 3-4 cloves
  • Olive oil 2-3 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Parsley for garnish

For Making Stock:

  • Chicken 1/2 kg
  • Chopped onions 2
  • Garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Black pepper 1/2 tsp
  • Crushed red chili 1 tsp
  • Olive oil 2-3 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. For stock: Heat oil in pot, put chicken, onion and garlic paste and roast it nicely.
  2. Now add black pepper, crushed red chili and salt, cook for 5 minutes.
  3. Now add 2 jug water and cook on low flame for 1 hour.
  4. Stock is ready.
  5. Then heat oil in pan and fry garlic.
  6. Then put peas, chickpeas, red beans and rice and roast it.
  7. Now put in soup and cook for 5-10 minutes.
  8. Now take out in serving dish, garnish with parsley and serve.

Afghani Rice Soup is delicious soup. Soup is prepared with chicken, onion & spices. Then cooked with rice, chickpeas, peas & red beans and served. You must try.
