Mughali Katakat Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Liver 250 gm
  • Kidney 4
  • Chops 250 gm
  • Chopped onion 2
  • Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
  • Red chili powder 1-1/2 tsp
  • Coriander powder 1 tbsp
  • Chopped tomatoes 4
  • Chopped green chilies 4
  • Salt 1-1/2 tsp
  • Ghee 1/2 cup
  • Yogurt 4 tbsp
  • Kasoori methi 1 tsp
  • Butter 2 tbsp
  • Coriander leaves 2-3 tbsp
  • Ginger slice 2 tbsp
  • Roasted & crushed coconut 1 tbsp
  • Sesame 1 tbsp
  • Roasted & crushed poppy seeds 1 tbsp

Method:

  1. Boil water in pan, put liver, kidney and chops, boil for 10 minutes and keep it aside.
  2. Put 1/2 cup water on tawa, put onion and ginger garlic paste and cook for 5 minutes.
  3. Then put boiled liver, kidney, chops, spices, tomatoes and green chilies and cook for 15 minutes.
  4. Then add ghee and fry it.
  5. Then put yogurt, poppy seeds, coconut, kasoori methi, butter, coriander leaves and ginger and serve.

Mughali Katakat is delicious dish. Kidney, liver and chops are boiled. Then cooked with tomatoes, spices and green chilies on tawa. Serve with raita and hot naan.
