Sheer Khurma Recipe

Ingredients:
- Milk 1 liter
- Vermicelli 1 cup
- Sugar 2 cups
- Cloves 2
- Finely crushed small cardamom 6
- Dry dates 8
- Finely chopped pistachios 15
- Finely chopped almond 10-12
- Ghee 2 tbsp
Method:
- Take out seeds of dried dates and cut into 4 pieces.
- Put ghee in pot and put small cardamom and cloves.
- When aroma comes, put finely crushed vermicelli and roast it nicely.
- Then take out vermicelli, put dry dates, pistachios and almonds, fry it and take it out.
- Remove pot, cool for 5 minutes and put milk.
- Put sugar and cook for few minutes.
- When sugar dissolves, put dry dates, put nuts and serve hot.
Sheer Khurma is festival vermicelli pudding. It is prepared on Eid ul-Fitr and Eid al-Adha. It is prepared with milk, vermicelli, dry dates and nuts.
