Maple Cupcakes Recipe

Ingredients:

For Streusel:

  • Brown sugar 1/2 cup
  • Sugar 1 tbsp
  • Maida 1/2 cup
  • Cinnamon 1/2 tsp
  • Salt 1/4 tsp
  • Butter 5 tbsp

For Cupcakes:

  • Maida 3 cups
  • Sugar 2 cups
  • Baking powder 1 tbsp
  • Cinnamon 2 tsp
  • Nutmeg 1/2 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Butter 1 cup
  • Sour cream 1 cup
  • Eggs 4
  • Vanilla essence 1 tbsp

For Maple Butter Cream:

  • Butter 1 cup
  • Icing sugar 1 pound
  • Vanilla essence 1-1/2 tsp
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • Maple syrup 1/3 cup
  • Cream 2 tbsp

Method:

  1. For streusel: Put brown sugar, cinnamon, salt, sugar and maida in bowl and mix it.
  2. Now mix butter in mixture and keep in refrigerator.
  3. For cupcakes: Put maida, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt in bowl and mix it.
  4. Now beat sour cream, eggs, vanilla essence and butter with beater nicely.
  5. Then put butter in cupcakes.
  6. Now put streusel mixture in cupcakes.
  7. Then bake on 180 degrees C for 20 minutes.
  8. For maple butter cream: Beat butter and icing sugar with beater.
  9. Now put remaining ingredients and mix it nicely.
  10. Then pour over cupcakes and serve.

Maple Cupcakes is delicious dessert. It is new variety of cupcakes. Streusel is prepared with maida & brown sugar. Then filled in cupcakes and baked. Then topped with maple butter cream and served.
