Ingredients:
For Streusel:
- Brown sugar 1/2 cup
- Sugar 1 tbsp
- Maida 1/2 cup
- Cinnamon 1/2 tsp
- Salt 1/4 tsp
- Butter 5 tbsp
For Cupcakes:
- Maida 3 cups
- Sugar 2 cups
- Baking powder 1 tbsp
- Cinnamon 2 tsp
- Nutmeg 1/2 tsp
- Salt 1 tsp
- Butter 1 cup
- Sour cream 1 cup
- Eggs 4
- Vanilla essence 1 tbsp
For Maple Butter Cream:
- Butter 1 cup
- Icing sugar 1 pound
- Vanilla essence 1-1/2 tsp
- Salt 1/2 tsp
- Maple syrup 1/3 cup
- Cream 2 tbsp
Method:
- For streusel: Put brown sugar, cinnamon, salt, sugar and maida in bowl and mix it.
- Now mix butter in mixture and keep in refrigerator.
- For cupcakes: Put maida, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt in bowl and mix it.
- Now beat sour cream, eggs, vanilla essence and butter with beater nicely.
- Then put butter in cupcakes.
- Now put streusel mixture in cupcakes.
- Then bake on 180 degrees C for 20 minutes.
- For maple butter cream: Beat butter and icing sugar with beater.
- Now put remaining ingredients and mix it nicely.
- Then pour over cupcakes and serve.
Maple Cupcakes is delicious dessert. It is new variety of cupcakes. Streusel is prepared with maida & brown sugar. Then filled in cupcakes and baked. Then topped with maple butter cream and served.
