Moroccan Roast Chicken Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Chicken 1/2 kg
  • Onion 1
  • Garlic 4-5 cloves
  • Paprika powder 1 tbsp
  • White pepper powder 1/2 tsp
  • Crushed black pepper 1/2 tsp
  • Whole cumin 1/2 tsp
  • Lemon juice 2 tbsp
  • Lemons 3-4
  • Parsley or Coriander leaves 1/2 bunch
  • Butter 4-5 tbsp
  • Oil 1-2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Cut lemon into pieces.
  2. Put onion, butter, garlic, paprika powder, white pepper powder, black pepper, cumin, lemon juice, salt and parsley or coriander leaves in blender, blend it and make paste.
  3. Put chicken and lemons in bowl and marinate with paste nicely.
  4. Now keep marinated chicken and lemon pieces in oven proof dish.
  5. Put marination on top and bake in preheated oven on 200 degrees C for 20 minutes.
  6. Then take it out and set in platter.
  7. Then garnish with salad leaves and lemon and serve.

Moroccan Roast Chicken is delicious dish. Chicken and lemons is marinated with white pepper & black pepper paste and baked in oven. Garnished with lemon and serve with naan & raita.
