Sabzi Daal Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Potatoes 4
  • Tomatoes 1/2 kg
  • Curry leaves few
  • Green chilies 4
  • Tamarind paste 1/2 cup
  • Turmeric 1 tsp
  • Onion seeds 1 tsp
  • Red chili powder 1 tbsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

For Bhagar:

  • Oil 1 cup
  • Red chili 4
  • Fenugreek seeds few
  • Curry leaves few
  • Cumin seeds 1 tsp

Method:

  1. Peel potatoes and keep it whole.
  2. Now put tomatoes and potatoes in pot and boil with little water.
  3. When potatoes tender, remove it, cool it and blend in blender.
  4. Then put again in pot, put turmeric, red chili powder, salt, curry leaves, ginger garlic paste, green chilies, tamarind paste and onion seeds and take it out for after 15 minutes.
  5. Then heat oil, fry red chili, fenugreek seeds, curry leaves and cumin seeds until black and add in daal.
  6. Then serve with hot plain rice.

Sabzi Daal is tasty dish. Vegetables is prepared in daal style. Then bhagar is added and serve with boiled rice. You can add some more vegetables.
