Aloo Kay Bhonday Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Potatoes 2 cups

For Bhagar:

  • Oil 2 tbsp
  • Mustard seeds 1/2 tsp
  • Chopped curry leaves 15
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Turmeric 1/2 tsp
  • Lemon juice 2-3 tbsp
  • Coriander leaves 2 tbsp
  • Chopped green chilies 2
  • Chopped onion 1/2 cup

For Batter:

  • Gram flour 1/2 cup
  • Soda bi carb 1/4 tsp
  • Water to make batter
  • Red chili powder 1 pinch

Method:

  1. Boil potatoes and mash it.
  2. Now put bhagar in oil, put onion and fry until soft.
  3. Then add potatoes and all spices and mix it.
  4. Now make balls of mixture.
  5. Mix batter ingredients, make paste, dip potatoes in it, deep fry in hot oil and serve with chutney.

Aloo Kay Bhonday is tasty dish. It is prepared with potatoes and cooked with spices in oil. The made balls, dipped in gram flour, deep fried and served with chutney. Make it in Ramadan.
