Bari Mirch Ki Biryani Recipe

Ingredients:

For Chili Stuffing:

  • Green chilies 10-12
  • Pomegranate seeds 4 tbsp
  • Dry coriander 2 tbsp
  • Red chilies crushed 2 tbsp
  • Salt 2 tsp
  • Mint leaves 1/2 cup
  • Coriander leaves 1/2 cup
  • Garlic 2-3 cloves
  • Oil 2-3 tbsp

For Masala:

  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • Sliced onion 1
  • Tomato slice 3-4
  • Yogurt 1/2 cup
  • Ginger garlic crushed 2 tbsp
  • Green cardamom 3-4
  • Whole mix spice 1 tbsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Red chili powder 1 tsp
  • Turmeric 1/4 tsp
  • Tara garam masala 2 tsp
  • Tamarind juice 1/4 cup
  • Mint leaves 1/4 cup
  • Brown onion 1/4 cup
  • Rice 2 cups
  • Food color 1/2 tsp

Method:

  1. For stuffing: Crush all ingredients except green chilies and make chutney.
  2. Now mark cut on one sides of green chilies and fill chutney.
  3. Heat oil in frying pan, fry green chilies for few seconds and keep it aside.
  4. Then boil rice and add salt.
  5. Then strain it and keep it aside.
  6. For masala: Heat oil in pan and fry onion until light golden.
  7. Then put ginger, garlic, tomatoes, all spices, roast it and add yogurt.
  8. Masala roasted, make layer of rice and green chilies.
  9. Put mint leaves and tamarind juice, put yellow color and simmer it.
  10. Then take out dish, garnish with fried onion and serve.

Bari Mirch Ki Biryani is spicy & tasty dish. Green chilies is stuffed with spices and fried. Then cooked with boiled rice, tomatoes & yogurt, garnished with brown onion and serve with raita.
