Ingredients:

  • Maida 1 kg
  • Uni puff 1/2 kg
  • Ghee 1/2 cup
  • Arraroth 500 gm
  • Oil for fry

Method:

  1. Make hard dough of maida.
  2. Now mix uni puff and ghee, mix it nicely and make thick paste.
  3. Then add 200 gm arraroth and again mix it again.
  4. Now rest dough for 20 minutes.
  5. Then roll it slightly, add mixture, again repeat this step, roll dough and again rest for 20 minutes.
  6. Make small balls and rest balls for 20 minutes.
  7. Then roll in round shape and fry it.
  8. Now take it out and cool it.
  9. Then add 1/2 kg of milk and sugar, mix it nicely.
  10. It is ready.

Khajla is common dish in Pakistan in month of Ramadan. It is prepared with maida & uni puff and deep fried. You can make it at home.
