Balti Chicken With Lentil Sauce

Ingredients:

  • Boneless chicken 250 gm
  • Chana daal boiled 1 cup
  • Oil 1/4 cup
  • Onion chopped 1 cup
  • Ginger garlic 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric 1/2 tsp
  • Green chilies, Coriander leaves as required
  • Red chili powder 1-1/2 tbsp
  • All spice 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander powder 1 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Tomatoes 2 slices
  • Lemon juice 2 tbsp
  • Water 1 cup

For Bhagar:

  • Oil 3 tbsp
  • Cumin 1/2 tsp
  • Red chilies whole 3
  • Curry leaves 6

Direction:

  1. Heat oil and fry onion.
  2. Now put ginger garlic, tomatoes, coriander leaves and green chilies and all spices and fry it nicely.
  3. Then add chicken and fry for 10 minutes.
  4. Now put little water, chana daal and lemon juice.
  5. Then put bhagar and serve.

Balti Chicken With Lentil Sauce is delicious dish. Chicken is fried with vegetables and spices. Then mixed with chana daal and bhagar is given. Serve with rice or naan.
