Ingredients:

  • Moong daal 1 cup
  • Maash daal 2 cups
  • Cumin powder 1 tbsp
  • Red chili powder 1 tbsp
  • Green chilies 4-5
  • Garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Eggs 2-3
  • Coriander leaves 1/2 bunch
  • Oil for fry
  • Salt to taste

Direction:

  1. Wash both lentils nicely and soak in water.
  2. Now put cumin, red chili powder, green chilies, garlic paste, eggs, coriander leaves and salt in blender, blend it and make smooth batter.
  3. Now heat oil, put little little mixture and spread it so that it becomes one pancake.
  4. Then put 1 tbsp oil on sides of it and cook on medium flame.
  5. Now turn it, put oil on sides and fry it.
  6. It is ready.
  7. Serve with chutney.

Cheelay is amazing dish. It is like pancake. Batter is prepared with moong daal, maash daal, green chilies & eggs and blended. Then fried on both sides with oil. Serve with chutney.
