Masala Chana Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Oil 1 tbsp
  • Onion chopped 2
  • Garlic clove 1
  • Coriander crushed 1 tbsp
  • Cumin crushed 1 tbsp
  • Red chili powder 1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric 1 tsp
  • Tomatoes chopped 2
  • Water 1 cup
  • Chickpeas cooked 4 cups
  • Cumin roasted & crushed 2 tsp
  • Dry mango powder 1 tbsp
  • Paprika 2 tsp
  • All spice 1 tsp
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • Lemon 1/2
  • Green chili chopped 1
  • Ginger grated 2 tsp

Direction:

  1. Heat oil, put onion and garlic and fry it slightly.
  2. Then put coriander, cumin, turmeric and red chili and cook for few seconds.
  3. Now put tomatoes, chickpeas, cumin, dry mango powder, paprika, all spice, salt and lemon juice, cover it and cook it.
  4. Then put ginger and green chili and serve.

Masala Chana is delicious side dish. It is prepared with tomatoes, chickpeas, spice and green chili. Serve with paratha or naan.
