Delhi Pulao Biryani Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Meat 1/2 kg
  • Coriander whole 1 tbsp
  • Fennel seeds 1 tbsp
  • Onion 1
  • Garlic cloves 4-5
  • Ginger 1 inch
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • All spice 1 tsp

For Rice:

  • Rice 1/2 kg
  • Oil 3/4 cup
  • Onion 1
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Red chili powder 1 tsp
  • Coriander powder 1 tsp
  • Salt 1 tbsp
  • All spice 1 tsp
  • Yogurt 1/2 cup
  • Tomatoes 2
  • Mint leaves 1/2 bunch
  • Green chilies 4-5
  • Plum 4-5

Direction:

  1. Cook meat with all ingredients and 4 cups water in pot on low flame for 1 to 1-1/2 hours.
  2. When meat tender, separate meat from stock, strain stock and take it out in separate bowl.
  3. Put oil in other pot, fry onion until golden brown and take it out.
  4. Then put ginger garlic and all spices and roast it slightly.
  5. Now put tomatoes, red chili powder, coriander and salt, roast it slightly and add meat.
  6. Then add yogurt, green chilies, mint leaves and plum and roast until water of yogurt dries.
  7. Now add rice, cover it and cook it.
  8. When water dries, simmer it.
  9. Put fried onion when simmering.
