Rajma Masala Recipe

Ingredients:
- Red kidney beans 500 gm
- Salt to taste
- Garlic chopped 4-5 cloves
- Ginger chopped 1/2 tsp
- Green chilies 1-2
For Tempering:
- Oil 1 tsp
- Cumin seeds 2
- Cloves 1 cup
- Black cardamom 4 cups
- Onion chopped 2 tsp
- Chopped garlic 1 tsp
- Ginger chopped 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
- Red chili powder 1 tsp
- Coriander powder 1 tsp
- Cumin powder 1 tsp
- Salt 1/2 tsp
- Tomatoes chopped 2
- Sugar 1 pinch
- Coriander leaves handful
- Green chili 1
- Butter 1 tbsp
- Curd 3 tbsp
Direction:
- Soak beans overnight and pressure cooker it.
- Mix boiled beans, water, garlic, ginger, green chili and salt in pan and boil it.
- Heat oil, add cumin seeds, cloves and black cardamom.
- Saute till they crackle.
- Now add onion and saute till brown.
- Add ginger and garlic.
- Now add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder and salt.
- Add little water and tomatoes.
- Add sugar, let tomato cook and add green chilies and coriander leaves.
- Add this to beans and mix it.
- Add butter and curd.
- Mix it nicely with beans.
Rajma Masala is healthy dish. Red kidney beans is boiled with vegetables. Then mixed with spices, curd & butter and served.
