Ingredients:
- Puff pastry as required
- Milk 2 cups
- Sugar 6 tbsp
- Eggs 3
- Cream 1 cup
- Cinnamon powder 1 pinch
- Rose water as required
- Lemon juice 2 tbsp
- Almonds finely chopped for garnish
- Pistachios finely chopped for garnish
Direction:
- Put milk and sugar in pan, mix it and cook until sugar dissolves.
- Now add eggs and mix it nicely.
- Then add cinnamon powder, rose water, almonds, pistachios, lemon juice and cream, mix it and remove it.
- Put crushed puff pastry and put remaining almonds and pistachios.
- Now bake in preheated oven on 200 degrees C until golden.
- Then take it out and serve.
Umm-e-Ali is famous Egyptian pudding. Milk & sugar is cooked and mixed with eggs, cream & nuts. Then puff pastry & nuts are poured and baked.
