Murgh Cholay Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Chicken 1/2 kg
  • Boiled chickpeas 2 cups
  • Tomatoes 250 gm
  • Onion 1
  • Red chili powder 2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander powder 1 tsp
  • All spice 1 tsp
  • Whole mix spices 1 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Oil 1 cup
  • Ginger, Green chilies, Coriander leaves for garnish

Direction:

  1. Heat oil, fry onion and take it out.
  2. Now mix onion and tomatoes and grind it.
  3. Then fry chicken in oil until golden brown and add onion & tomato paste.
  4. Then put red chili powder, turmeric, coriander powder, all spice, whole mix spices, ginger garlic paste and salt and cover it.
  5. When chicken tender, put chickpeas.
  6. Then garnished with ginger, coriander leaves and green chilies and simmer it for 5 minutes.
  7. It is ready.

Murgh Cholay is delicious and common dish in Pakistan. It is usually eaten in breakfast with hot naan. It is prepared in various methods.
