Aloo Batatay Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Potatoes boiled 1/2 kg
  • Lemons 2
  • Black pepper crushed 1/2 tbsp
  • Red chili crushed 1/2 tbsp
  • Green chilies chopped 2
  • Salt to taste
  • White cumin powder 1/2 tbsp
  • Corn flour 4 tbsp
  • Rice flour 4 tbsp
  • Eggs 3
  • Oil as required

Direction:

  1. Peel potatoes and mash it.
  2. Now mix black pepper, red chili, salt, lemon juice, cumin and green chilies and make small rolls.
  3. Now beat eggs in bowl, mix corn flour and rice flour and mix it nicely.
  4. Then heat oil in wok, dip balls in beaten eggs, put in wok and fry until golden.
  5. Serve with tamarind chutney.

Aloo Batatay is tasty snack dish. Batatay is prepared with potatoes and green chilies. Dipped in eggs & flour mixture and fried. Serve with sauce or chutney.
