Paneer Makhni Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Cottage cheese 2 packets
  • Raw onion paste 2
  • Green chilies crushed 8
  • Oil 1/2 cup
  • Red chili crushed 1 tsp
  • Black pepper crushed 1 tsp
  • Kasoori methi 1 tbsp
  • Ginger finely chopped 1 tbsp
  • Butter 1 tbsp
  • White cumin 1/2 tbsp
  • Coriander whole 1/2 tbsp
  • Tomato puree 2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

Direction:

  1. Roast kasoori methi slightly and crush it.
  2. Now mix cumin and coriander and roast it.
  3. Then cut cheese into cubes.
  4. Now heat oil in wok and fry onion until light pink.
  5. Then put tomato puree, red chili, green chilies, ginger, cumin and coriander and roast it slightly.
  6. Then shallow fry cheese cubes in other frying pan and put in masalay.
  7. Now add salt.
  8. Then put kasoori methi and black pepper, add butter and keep on low flame for 5 minutes.
  9. It is ready.

Paneer Makhni is delicious and spicy dish. Cottage cheese is shallow fried and mixed with green chilies masala. Topped with butter and serve with paratha or hot naan.
