Moroccan Chicken Tagine Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Chicken 8 pieces
  • Chickpeas 1 tin
  • Onion chopped 1
  • Garlic crushed 1 tbsp
  • Red chilies crushed 1 tbsp
  • Cumin powder 1 tsp
  • Fennel powder 1/4 tsp
  • Tomatoes chopped 2
  • Tomato paste 2 tbsp
  • Chicken stock 2 cups
  • Lemon slice 1
  • Green olives 1/4 cup
  • Oil 1/4 cup

Direction:

  1. Heat oil and fry onion until light brown.
  2. Then put garlic, tomatoes, tomato paste and spices and roast it.
  3. When it roast nicely, put stock and chickpeas and cook until chicken tender and gravy is thick.
  4. Then put lemon slice and olives slice and simmer it for 2 minutes.
  5. Then take out in dish and serve.

Moroccan Chicken Tagine is tasty dish. Chicken is cooked with tomatoes, tomato paste, chicken stock and chickpeas. Then lemon slices & olives are added, simmer and served.
