Moroccan Chicken Tagine Recipe

Ingredients:
- Chicken 8 pieces
- Chickpeas 1 tin
- Onion chopped 1
- Garlic crushed 1 tbsp
- Red chilies crushed 1 tbsp
- Cumin powder 1 tsp
- Fennel powder 1/4 tsp
- Tomatoes chopped 2
- Tomato paste 2 tbsp
- Chicken stock 2 cups
- Lemon slice 1
- Green olives 1/4 cup
- Oil 1/4 cup
Direction:
- Heat oil and fry onion until light brown.
- Then put garlic, tomatoes, tomato paste and spices and roast it.
- When it roast nicely, put stock and chickpeas and cook until chicken tender and gravy is thick.
- Then put lemon slice and olives slice and simmer it for 2 minutes.
- Then take out in dish and serve.
Moroccan Chicken Tagine is tasty dish. Chicken is cooked with tomatoes, tomato paste, chicken stock and chickpeas. Then lemon slices & olives are added, simmer and served.
