Ingredients

  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Red Pepper (crushed) 1 ½ tsp
  • Turmeric Powder 1/2tsp
  • Coriander Leave 2 tbsp
  • Oil ½ cup
  • Bottle Gourd (sliced) ½ kg
  • Onion (sliced )2
  • Nigella Seeds ½ tsp
  • Fennel Seeds ½ tsp
  • Fenugreek Seeds ¼ tsp
  • Cumin Seeds (roasted & crushed) 1 tsp
  • Curry Leaves 10
  • Whole Red Chilies 6
  • Tomatoes (chopped) 2

Direction

  1. In hot Oil fry Onion, red chilies, curry leaves and all the seed. Add turmeric and tomatoes after cutting them.
  2. Add Lauki with 150ml or half cup of water and cook them till done. Add at the end some cumin, garnished with chopped coriander.
