Coconut Creamy Pie Recipe

Ingredients:

For Base:

  • Butter 6 oz
  • Maida 8 oz
  • Caster sugar 3 oz
  • Egg yolk beaten 1
  • Cold water for dough

For Filling:

  • Melted butter 4 oz
  • Sugar 1 cup
  • Beaten eggs 1 cup
  • Coconut essence 1/2 tsp
  • Coconut cream 1/4 cup
  • Coconut powder 1 cup
  • Almonds chopped 3 tbsp

Direction:

  1. Sieve maida in bowl.
  2. Now put sugar, butter and egg yolk, mix it and knead with cold water.
  3. Then keep in fridge for 15 minutes.
  4. Then roll it, keep on 8 inch plate and bake for 10 minutes.
  5. For filling: Put all ingredients in bowl and mix it.
  6. Now put in pie shell and bake on 180 degrees C for 45 minutes.

Coconut Creamy Pie is amazing side dish. Base is prepared with butter, maida, sugar & egg, knead with cold water and baked. Filling is prepared with butter, coconut essence, coconut cream & coconut powder, poured on pie shell and baked.
