Yakitori Chicken Recipe

Ingredients:

For Chicken:

  • Chicken boneless 1/2 kg
  • Green onion 8-10
  • Salt to taste
  • BBQ sticks as required

For Sauce:

  • Japanese soya sauce 1 cup
  • Brown sugar 1 cup
  • White vinegar 5 tsp
  • Lemon juice 2-3 tbsp
  • Maida 1 tbsp

Direction:

  1. For sauce: Put soya sauce, brown sugar, vinegar and lemon juice in pan and cook until it boils.
  2. When it boils, put maida gradually in water and cook until thick.
  3. When sauce is thick, remove it.
  4. It is ready.
  5. For chicken: Cut chicken into cubes.
  6. Cut center part of green onion.
  7. Now dip chicken and green onion in sauce.
  8. Then skew on bbq sticks and bake on 200 degrees C for 15-20 minutes.
  9. During baking, take out sticks and dip in sauce again.
  10. Repeat this step 1-2 more times.
  11. Take out dish and serve.

Yakitori Chicken is delicious Japanese dish. Sauce is prepared with Japanese soya sauce, lemon juice and maida. Chicken & spring onion is dipped in sauce, skewed on BBQ sticks and baked.
