Yakitori Chicken Recipe

Ingredients:
For Chicken:
- Chicken boneless 1/2 kg
- Green onion 8-10
- Salt to taste
- BBQ sticks as required
For Sauce:
- Japanese soya sauce 1 cup
- Brown sugar 1 cup
- White vinegar 5 tsp
- Lemon juice 2-3 tbsp
- Maida 1 tbsp
Direction:
- For sauce: Put soya sauce, brown sugar, vinegar and lemon juice in pan and cook until it boils.
- When it boils, put maida gradually in water and cook until thick.
- When sauce is thick, remove it.
- It is ready.
- For chicken: Cut chicken into cubes.
- Cut center part of green onion.
- Now dip chicken and green onion in sauce.
- Then skew on bbq sticks and bake on 200 degrees C for 15-20 minutes.
- During baking, take out sticks and dip in sauce again.
- Repeat this step 1-2 more times.
- Take out dish and serve.
Yakitori Chicken is delicious Japanese dish. Sauce is prepared with Japanese soya sauce, lemon juice and maida. Chicken & spring onion is dipped in sauce, skewed on BBQ sticks and baked.
