Black Pepper Koyla Karahi Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Chicken 1 kg
  • Black Pepper 1- ½ tsp
  • All Spice Powder 1 tsp
  • Tomatoes 5
  • Turmeric Powder ½ tsp
  • Chopped Garlic 4 to 5 cloves
  • Salt to taste
  • Coriander Leaves 1 bunch
  • Cream ½ cup
  • Yogurt ½ cup
  • Green Chilies 5 to 6
  • Ginger Julienne Cut for garnishing
  • Oil 1 cup
  • Coal for smoke

Direction:

  1. In a pan put 1 cup water and boiled it. Add chopped garlic, turmeric powder
  2. Add chicken and cook them on high flames till water dried.
  3. Then add tomatoes and cover with lid then cook till tomatoes are tender.
  4. Now mash tomatoes, add oil, chicken, salt, cream and yogurt, and cook on low flame till oil separate.
  5. Add black pepper and all spice powder mix well.
  6. Now add green coriander, green chilies or ginger and simmer for 5 to 10 min.
