Chicken Shashlik Recipe

Ingredients:
For Chicken:
- Chicken boneless cubes 1 kg
- Garlic paste 1 tsp
- Ginger paste 1 tsp
- Crushed red chilies 1/2 tbsp
- Sugar 1 tsp
- Soya sauce 2 tbsp
- White vinegar 1 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Oil for fry
- Skewers as required
- Tomatoes cubes 3
- Capsicums cubes 3
- Onion cubes 3
For Sauce:
- Ginger garlic paste 1/2 tbsp
- Soya sauce 1 tsp
- Chili sauce 1 tsp
- Ketchup 1 tbsp
- Chili garlic sauce 1 tbsp
- Black pepper 1 tsp
- Crushed red chili 1/2 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Corn flour 1 tbsp
- Oil 1 tbsp
For Rice:
- Rice 3 cups
- Garlic finely chopped 3 cloves
- Oil 4 tbsp
Direction:
- For chicken: Put all ingredients in bowl except oil and marinate chicken for 2 hours.
- Then skew chicken and vegetables cube on skewer. Skew one chicken cube, followed by vegetable, then another chicken cube and so on.
- Prepare all skewer like this.
- Then grill it and fry in oil in saucepan.
- For sauce: Heat oil in saucepan.
- Then add ginger garlic paste and saute for 1 minute.
- Then add soya sauce, chili sauce, ketchup, chili garlic sauce, black pepper, crushed red chili and salt.
- Then cook it for 1 minute.
- Then dissolve corn flour in water and put in sauce.
- Then stir it and when sauce is thick, remove from heat.
- For rice: Boil rice.
- Then heat oil and fry garlic until light brown color.
- Then add rice and steam it.
- Then take out rice in dish, keep chicken shashlik and serve with sauce.
Chicken Shashlik is tasty and delicious dish. Chicken is marinated and skewed with vegetables on skewers. Then grill it or dry it. Serve with sauce and steamed rice. You can also serve chicken shashlik in gravy style.
