Egg Biryani Recipe

Egg Biryani is new variety of biryani. You must try this biryani at home for change.

Ingredients:

  • Boiled rice 1/2 kg
  • Ginger paste 1 tbsp
  • Garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Yogurt 1 cup
  • Potatoes 2-3
  • Tomatoes chopped 3
  • Peas boiled 1/2 cup
  • Green chilies 7-8
  • Coriander leaves chopped 1/2 bunch
  • Brown onion 1/2 cup
  • Eggs boiled 5-6
  • Whole spice 1 tbsp
  • Red chili powder 1 tbsp
  • Coriander powder 2 tsp
  • Turmeric 1/2 tsp
  • Cumin powder 1/2 tsp
  • All spice powder 1 tsp
  • Kewra 1 tbsp
  • Yellow food color 1 tsp
  • Oil 1/2 cup

Direction:

  1. Heat oil in pot, put ginger paste, garlic paste, whole spice, red chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric, all spice powder and brown onion and fry it nicely.
  2. Then put potatoes, peas and yogurt, cover it and cook until vegetables tender.
  3. Now add boiled eggs.
  4. Spread half rice in pot.
  5. Then spread potatoes and eggs masala.
  6. Then spread green chilies, coriander leaves and tomatoes.
  7. Then spread remaining rice.
  8. Then mix kewra with yellow color and spread on rice.
  9. Then cover it and simmer it for 10-15 minutes.
  10. Then take out in serving dish and serve with raita.

Egg Biryani is tasty biryani. Brown onion & spices are fried and cooked with potatoes, peas, yogurt and eggs. Then half rice is spread in pot, then eggs & potato mixture is spread, then green chilies & tomatoes and then remaining rice. Then simmered and serve in dish with raita.
