Chicken Tikka Pakora Recipe

Chicken Tikka Pakora is popular snack dish. Make this recipe at home and surprise your family. You can serve it as appetizer or snacks with tea on rainy day.

Ingredients:

  • Boneless chicken 1 kg
  • Yogurt 4 tbsp
  • Ginger paste 1/2 tbsp
  • Garlic paste 1/2 tbsp
  • Tikka masala 1/2 cup
  • Tandoori color 1 pinch
  • Lemon juice 1/2
  • All spice powder 1 tsp
  • Red chili powder 1/2 tbsp
  • Crushed red chili 1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric 1/4 tsp
  • Cumin powder 1 tsp
  • Coriander powder 1 tsp
  • Carom seeds 1/2 tsp
  • Oregano 1/2 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Chaat masala 1 tsp + for sprinkle
  • Gram flour 1 cup
  • Chopped coriander leaves 1/2 bunch
  • Oil for fry

For Tikka Masala:

  • Whole red chili 50 gm
  • Talhar chili 50 gm
  • Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  • Fennel seeds 1 tsp
  • Cinnamon 2 sticks
  • Cumin seeds 1 tbsp
  • Black cardamom seeds 1/2 tsp
  • Whole black pepper 1/2 tsp
  • Carom seeds 1/2 tsp
  • Mace 1 tsp
  • Nutmeg 1/2
  • Star anise 1
  • Orange food color 1/2 tsp
  • Citric acid 1 tbsp

Direction:

  1. Cut chicken boneless into cubes.
  2. Then put chicken in bowl with yogurt, ginger paste, garlic paste, tikka masala, tandoori color, lemon juice and chaat masala and marinate chicken for 30 to 60 minutes.
  3. For batter: Then put gram flour, all spice powder, red chili powder, crushed red chili, turmeric, cumin powder, coriander powder, carom seeds, oregano, salt, and chopped coriander leaves in other bowl, mix it nicely with water and make thick batter.
  4. Then heat oil in wok.
  5. Then dip marinated chicken cubes in batter and deep fry in hot oil until golden.
  6. Then take it out in tissue paper so that it absorbs oil.
  7. Then keep in platter, sprinkle chaat masala and serve hot with ketchup, sauce, chutney or dip of your choice.
  8. For tikka masala: Roast all ingredients except citric acid on tawa.
  9. Now put all masalay in blender and grind it.
  10. Then add citric acid and mix it.
  11. Tikka masala is ready.

Chicken Tikka Pakora is crispy and spicy snack dish. Chicken is marinated with paste, yogurt, lemon juice, tikka masala and spices. Then dipped in gram flour & spices batter and deep fried. Then sprinkled chaat masala and served with sauce, ketchup, chutney or dip.
