Sweet and Sour Fish Recipe

Sweet and Sour Fish is tasty and sweet main course dish. Must try this fish recipe for change.
Ingredients:
For Fish:
- Fish 1 kg
- All-purpose flour 2 tbsp
- Soya sauce 2 tbsp
For Sweet n Sour Sauce:
- Crushed garlic 2 tsp
- Crushed ginger 2 tsp
- Tomato ketchup 1 cup
- Red chili powder 1 tsp
- White pepper powder 1 tsp
- White vinegar 4 tbsp
- Soya sauce 2 tbsp
- Sugar 2 tbsp
- Chicken stock 2 cups
- All-purpose flour 3 tbsp
- Carrot chopped 1
- Capsicum cubes 1
- Onion cubes 2
- Ginger grated 1/2 tsp
- Tomato cubes 2
- Pineapple chunks & juice 1 can
- Water 2 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Sesame oil 2 tsp
- Oil as required
Direction:
- For fish: Cut fish into bit size pieces.
- Then put fish, soya sauce and 2 tbsp all-purpose flour in bowl, mix it and leave for 30 minutes.
- Then heat oil in deep frying pan.
- Then put fish pieces and deep fry until golden brown.
- Then take it out and keep on absorbent paper to drain excess oil.
- For sweet n sour sauce: Heat oil in wok and sauté ginger and garlic.
- Then add tomato ketchup, red chili powder and sugar and cook it stirring occasionally.
- Now add chicken stock, white pepper, white vinegar, soya sauce and bring to boil.
- Then mix corn flour with little water, put in sauce little at a time and cook until thick stirring occasionally.
- Then heat oil in pan, add capsicum, tomato, onion and carrot and cook for few minutes on low flame.
- Then put vegetables, pineapple chunks and pineapple juice in sauce and mix it nicely.
- Then transfer deep fried fish on serving dish, pour sweet & sour sauce on fish and serve hot with cooked rice.
Sweet and Sour Fish is tasty dish. Fish pieces is mixed with soya sauce & all-purpose flour and deep fried. Then sauce is prepared with tomato ketchup, spices, chicken stock, corn flour mixture, mix vegetables & pineapple and cooked. Then poured on fried dish and served with boiled rice.
