Lemon Fish Recipe

Lemon Fish is tasty dish. It is rich in flavors. Make it at home.

Ingredients:

For Fish:

  • Boneless fish slices 2 kg
  • Lemon juice 4 tbsp
  • White pepper 2 tsp
  • Garlic paste 2 tsp
  • Salt 2 tsp
  • Oil as required

For Lemon Sauce:

  • Lemon juice 1 cup
  • Sugar 5 tbsp
  • Salt 2 pinch
  • White pepper 2 pinch
  • Corn flour 2 tbsp

For Batter:

  • All-purpose flour 2 cups
  • Baking powder 2 tsp
  • Corn flour 8 tbsp
  • Cold water as required
  • Eggs 2-3
  • Oil 9 tbsp

Direction:

  1. For fish: Put fish, salt, white pepper, garlic paste and lemon juice in bowl and marinate fish nicely for 1 hour.
  2. For batter: Mix all ingredients in bowl and mix it nicely until thick batter.
  3. Then heat oil in wok.
  4. Then dip marinated fish in batter, put in oil and deep fry until golden and crispy.
  5. Then take it out and keep on absorbent paper to drain excess oil.
  6. For lemon sauce: Add lemon juice, sugar, salt, white pepper and 3 cups water in pan and cook until it boil.
  7. Then mix corn flour with 4 tbsp water, add in sauce and mix it nicely until sauce is thick.
  8. Then transfer fried fish in serving plate, pour lemon sauce over it and serve.

Lemon Fish is delicious dish. Lemon is marinated with lemon juice, garlic paste & white pepper mixture. Then dipped in all-purpose flour batter and deep fried in oil. Then topped with lemon sauce and served.
