Fried Prawns

Ingredients:
- 6 King Prawns
- 2 tsp vinegar
- 1 tsp chilli powder
- 1tsp salt
- ½ cup flour
- 1 beaten egg yolk
- 2 egg whites
- 1 tsp salad oil
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp red pepper
- 1//3 cup milk
- ¼ baking powder
- 1 tsp water
Method:
- Clean the prawns but do not cut off the nails.
- Mix vinegar, chilli powder and salt and coat the prawns. Leave for 1 hour.
- In a separate bow, combine flour, beaten egg yolk, salad oil, salt, red pepper, milk, baking powder and water in a batter. Beat well and leave covered for ½ an hour.
- Beat 2 egg whites until stiff and gradually fold in the batter.
- Dip the prawns one at a time in the batter and deep fry till golden.
- Serve hot
Perfect delight for all occasions whether it is a cocktail party or a birthday bash.
