Ingredients:
- Potatoes – ½ kg
- Garlic paste ½ tbsp
- Salt – to taste
- Red chilies – 1 tbsp
- Oregano – ½ tbsp
- Mustard seeds – ½ tbsp
- Nigella seeds – ½ tbsp
- Sugar – 1 tbsp
- Tamarind pulp – ½ cup
- Oil – 5 tbsp
Method:
- Add red chilies and nigella seeds in 2 cups of boiling water.
- Add boiled potatoes and heat till the gravy thickens.
- Heat oil in a pan and add mustard, garlic and oregano till they start popping up.
- Add the frying pan content on the potatoes and cook for 5minutes.
- Add salt, sugar and tamarind. Mix the content thoroughly.
- Remove from heat and garnish with finely chopped green chilies.
Description Light spicy meal.
