Ingredients:
- Chicken – 1 kg
- Ginger garlic paste – 2 tbsp
- Chickpeas (boiled) – 1 cup
- Onions (finely sliced) – 2 medium
- Tomatoes – 3 medium
- Coriander – 1 tbsp
- Turmeric powder – 1 tbsp
- Cumin seeds – 1 tbsp
- Pepper – 1 tbsp
- Oil – ½ cup
Method:
- In a pot heat oil and stir fry onions till golden.
- Add ginger garlic paste along with pepper and sauté for a minute.
- Add tomatoes and cook until tender.
- Add salt, coriander, cumin, turmeric and chicken.
- Stir well for 5 minutes.
- Add chickpeas with 2 cups of water and cook on a low heat.
- Remove from heat after 10 minutes and serve hot.
Great combination of chicken and cholay.
