Crispy Fried Chicken

Ingredients:

  • Chicken – 1 kg
  • Salt – to taste
  • Garlic powder – 1 tbsp
  • Red chili powder – 1 tbsp
  • Pepper – 1 tbsp
  • Coriander – 1 tbsp
  • Cumin seed – 1 tbsp
  • Plain flour – 2 cups
  • Corn flour – 1 cup
  • Oil – for frying

Method:

  1. Take a bowl and mix flour with corn flour, salt, garlic, red chilies, pepper, cumin and coriander.
  2. Divide the flour mixture in two parts. Add cold water in one half of the mixture and keep the other half of the mixture dry in a separate bowl.
  3. Take chicken pieces and dip in flour paste.
  4. Refrigerate for 6 hours.
  5. Later, roll the chicken pieces in dried flour mixture and deep fry until golden.
  6. Serve with tomato ketchup or chutney.
