Shrimp Teriyaki

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup Soy Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Vegetable Oil
  • 1 ½ tsp Cornstarch
  • 1 Clove Garlic, Crushed
  • 1 tsp Minced Fresh Ginger Root
  • 2 tbsp Water
  • 2 lbs Medium Sized Raw Shrimp,
  • Peeled And Deveined

Method:

  1. Combine soy sauce, sugar, oil, cornstarch, garlic, ginger and water in small saucepan.
  2. Simmer, stirring constantly, until thickened, for about 1 minute. Then let the mixture cool.
  3. Coat shrimp with sauce; drain off excess. Place on rack of broiler pan.
  4. Broil 5 inches from heat source 3 to 4 minutes on each side, or until shrimp are opaque and cooked.
  5. Serve immediately with wooden picks.
