Pear Sorbet

Ingredients:

  • 2 cans pears in heavy syrup
  • 1 tsp. almond extract
  • 3 Tbsp. crystallized ginger
  • fresh mint sprigs

Method:

  1. Freeze the fruit cans for at least 8 hours or overnight.
  2. When ready to assemble, remove cans from the freezer and place in hot water for 1-2 minutes.
  3. Open cans and place fruit in the food processor and add almond extract and ginger and process until smooth.
  4. Place in individual bowls and garnish with mint sprigs.

This sorbet is amazingly light and zingy
