Pear Sorbet

Ingredients:
- 2 cans pears in heavy syrup
- 1 tsp. almond extract
- 3 Tbsp. crystallized ginger
- fresh mint sprigs
Method:
- Freeze the fruit cans for at least 8 hours or overnight.
- When ready to assemble, remove cans from the freezer and place in hot water for 1-2 minutes.
- Open cans and place fruit in the food processor and add almond extract and ginger and process until smooth.
- Place in individual bowls and garnish with mint sprigs.
This sorbet is amazingly light and zingy
