Easy Cherry Cake

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound cake
  • 8 ounces whipped cream cheese
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 16 ounces whipped cream
  • 1 (30 ounce) can cherries

Method:

  1. Cut the cake into one inch squares.
  2. Set the cake pieces into the bottom of a 9x13 pan.
  3. In a bowl, beat together cream cheese, vanilla and powdered sugar.
  4. Fold whipped cream into cream cheese mixture.
  5. Spread mixture over cake.
  6. Top with cherries.
  7. Refrigerate overnight.
  8. Serve cold
