Okra With Tomatoes
Ingredients
½ kg ladyfingers
½ kg tomatoes
12 green chilies
½ bunch fresh coriander
½ cup oil
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp chaat masala
1 tsp funnel seeds (saunf)
½ tsp salt
½ tsp onion seeds
Method
Make slits in ½ kg okras.
Then fill them with 1 tsp cumin seeds, 1 tsp chaat masala and 1 tsp fennel seeds. In a wok, heat ½ cup oil and add ½ kg chopped tomatoes.
Also add ½ tsp onion seeds, ½ tsp salt, 12 green chilies and stuffed okras.
Allow it to cook in a covered pan on low flame for 20 minutes.
Mix briefly and sprinkle ½ bunch slices coriander on it.
Turn off the flame.
Ready to serve.
Beef Boti Karahi
Ingredients
½ kg boneless beef
6 curry leaves
8 whole red peppers
½ bunch fresh coriander
375 grams tomatoes
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 tbsp crushed green chilies
1 tbsp garlic paste
½ tsp hot spices powder
½ tsp turmeric powder
½ tsp salt
4 tbsp crushed onion Methods
Chop ½ kg boneless beef into small pieces and marinate with 1 tbsp crushed green chilies, ½ tsp salt and 1 tbsp garlic paste for 2 hours.
Heat ½ cup oil, add marinated beef and allow cooking in a covered pan on low flame for 20 minutes.
When beef is tender, add 375 grams tomatoes, ½ tsp turmeric powder, 8 powder, 8 whole red peppers, 6 curry leaves, 4 tbsp crushed onions and 1 tsp cumin seeds.
Let it cook in a covered pan for another 15 minutes. Stir well. Add ½ tsp hot spices powder and ½ bunch fresh coriander and simmer for 5 minutes.
Ready to serve.
