Zafrani Halwa

Ingredients


  • Rice flour 2 cups
  • Sugar 2 cups
  • Clarified butter
  • Cardamoms 4
  • Dry milk 1 cup
  • Cream 1 cup
  • Fried almonds 50 grams

Method


  1. Stir together 2 cups rice flour in 250 grams clarified butter, on medium flame.
  2. Then add ½ tsp saffron, 2 cups sugar, 4 cardamoms, 1 cup dry milk, 1 cup cream and 1 tbsp rose essence and mix.
  3. Simmer on low flame for 10 minutes.
  4. When butter forms a separate layer.
  5. Take halva out in a dish and sprinkle 50 grams chopped and fried almonds on it.
  6. Saffron halva is ready to serve.
