Pumpkin Chicken


Ingredients

  • ½ kg chicken 
  • ½ kg pumpkin
  • 250 grams yogurt
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 2 onion
  • 4 green chilies
  • 2 glass water
  • ¼ bunch coriander
  • ½ cup oil
  • 1 tbsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tbsp cumin powder
  • 2 tbsp red chili powder
  • 2 tbsp dry achar masala
  • 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • salt to taste

Method 

  1. Firstly in a chopper machine, chop 2 tomatoes, 2 onion, 4 green chilies and coriander as required with 1 cup water. 
  2. Then in a pan, heat ½ cup oil and cook 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste. 
  3. When it is cooked, include tomato onion paste in it. 
  4. Also add 2 tbsp red chili powder, tbsp turmeric powder, 1 tbsp cumin powder, 2 tbsp dry achar masala, salte to taste, 250 grams yogurt and 1 glass water in it.
  5. When it is almost cooked, add ½ kg chicken and ½ kg pumpkin in it. 
  6. If required add half glass of water in it. 
  7. Then cover the pan with its lid and leave to cook on low flame.
  8. Check after 10 to 15 minutes whether pumpkins are cooked then increased flame and stir it properly. 
  9. Garnish ¼ bunch of coriander on pumpkin chicken before serving.
