Summer Sausage Roll


Ingredients

  • Chicken sausages 4
  • 2 chopped tomatoes
  • Egg 1
  • Puff pastry ½ kg
  • Mayonnaise ½ cup
  • Black pepper
  • 1 tsp finely sliced garlic
  • 1 tbsp chopped basil
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp garlic sauce
  • 2 tbsp oil


Method

  1. Chop 4 chicken sausages into small pieces. In a pan, heat 2 tbsp oil and saute 1 tsp finely sliced garlic in it. When garlic is fragrant, add chopped sausages and fry for a minute. Then turn of the flame.
  2. Now add 2 finely sliced tomatoes, 1 tbsp chopped basil, ½ tsp salt, 1 tsp black pepper, ½ cup mayonnaise and 2 tbsp chili garlic sauce and mix. Roll puff pastry with a rolling pin and fill in with sausages mixture, brush a beaten egg.
  3. Cut squares 2 inches and sprinkle sesame seeds on top. Bake in pre heated oven at 180 c for 20 minutes. Ready to serve.
