Moong Ki Daal Ka Halwa Recipes

Best recipe to prepare moong daal ka halwa

Ingredients:

  • Green gram lentils 1/2 kg.
  • Yellow food color 1/2 tsp.
  • Milk 250 gm.
  • Kewra water 1 tsp.
  • Sugar 1/2 kg.
  • Ghee 250 gm.
  • Green Cardamom 6.
  • Finely chopped pistachio 50 gm.
  • Khoya 250 gm.
  • Finely chopped almonds 50 gm.

Method:

  1. Take a bowl and soak green gram lentils in water for 4 to 5 hours.
  2. Take a sauce pan and put soaked green gram lentils and milk and yellow food color and let it boil.
  3. When the green gram lentils are cooked and tender close the stove and grind it using a hand blender.
  4. Now take a wok and pour ghee into it.
  5. Put the mixture in the ghee and roast it.
  6. When the ghee separates and comes up add khoya, kewra and almonds.
  7. Let them simmer for a while.
  8. Close the stove.
  9. Serve.
